The Government of Western Australia has announced Dr Michael Schaper has resigned as Chair of the Gaming and Wagering Commission (GWC).
Dr Schaper will finish in the role in February 2024. He has resigned due to other commitments.
The GWC is responsible for administering the law relating to gaming and wagering in Western Australia.
The independent chairperson and members of the GWC are appointed by the Racing and Gaming Minister.
